Yoga is a great exercise that will help you to control the muscles in your body, make you more flexible, and can clear your mind. It is a very relaxing technique and is a great way to de-stress after a hard day.
Hatha yoga is one of the classes that many people will offer at a gym. This technique is more of a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. This is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga.

Some parents are torn over whether or not they should always listen to the advice that is given to them by their pediatricians. Obviously they know what they are doing and there are some very important tips to remember and follow. Like how you should always place your baby in a rear facing car seat before they are 1 or how you should bring them to the ER if they are running a 105 degree temperature. How many times a week will someone you know ask you how you are doing and wonder whether you are getting the amount of sleep that you need? It’s probably quite a few if you have a busy schedule. Between work, taking care of our families, and trying to have something of a social life we don’t seem to have time to get in more than 8 hours of sleep.

Remember when we were young and our first job was at the closest grocery store or restaurant? We were on our feet all day keeping busy and we could eat as much as we wanted without gaining a pound. Now we have the daily office job and we find ourselves sitting down for the majority of our day. We still eat what we want – but now we have noticed the extra 20 pounds that seemed to creep up on us without any warning.
