Mother’s Day Gift No-No’s
Mother’s Day is this weekend and it’s time for children and husbands all over the country to start really thinking about the perfect gift to get the woman who does everything for them. We may not have ideas for you on what to get her – but we can tell you what not to get her.
Lotions are a big no-no. I know that they are labeled as the one gift that every woman loves – but sometimes it gets a bit old. Not to mention you are telling her that she needs to beautify herself more. No need to make her feel dumpy. The only type of lotion that you can get her (if you have no other ideas) is the really expensive one that she can only afford once a year.
She does not need yet another kitchen appliance that she needs to find room for. No woman wants something that they have to work hard to use. They want to be pampered. Not reminded to cook the best meals they can every night.
If you are going to get her pajamas please make sure that they make her feel sexy and beautiful. Getting her frumpy or plaid pajamas will make her feel old. Let’s not turn her into a grandma before her time.
Never, ever buy her that $700 vacuum cleaner or carpet shampoo cleaner. No woman wants to be reminded to clean the house on their special day. Plus if you are going to spend that much on her gift you might as well give her that spa day or shopping spree that they have been dreaming about.
